BCCS is an outdoor site in the fresh air so we will remain open unless guided by government otherwise.
However, it is only sensible to take precautions.
For all our members, visitors and volunteers we have soap, paper towels and disposable hygienic gloves available in the Compost Loo. After use please put in the rubbish bag, NOT the toilet.
Advice:
Clean your hands regularly
Cough and sneeze on the inside of your elbow or
Cough and sneeze into a paper handkerchief
Dispose of paper handkerchiefs in a responsible manner
Try to keep c2 metres away from others on site
At the start of an organised volunteer session, we will reiterate this advice in addition to the usual health and safety introduction.
During this period please bring your own mug to reduce the chance of spreading the virus.
We are also advising that if in the last 14 days you have visited one of the areas that are currently considered high risk by Public Health England or have come into contact with someone who has been diagnosed with coronavirus please follow the government guidance provided.
