BCCS hosted a collection of enthusiastic composters this week to mulch over soily things. Workers from Stroud Communty Agriculture, Good Small Farms, Common Soil, Growing Places and Brimscombe and Thrupp Community Composting scheme explored the value of compost, its amazing impact on the health of the soil and growing good food, life in the soil and the biodiversity composting schemes support. They also munched on delicious home made flapjack with tea. Blue skies made the afternoon a great success. We plan to set up a network of composting enthusiasts to help us all in our good work.
