Classes 2 and 3 of Bisley Bluecoat School visited BCCS in Biodiversity week and learned how compost is made from Directors Sue Bradley and Lesley Greene. They discussed life in the soil – the worms, woodlice and centipedes. With Sue they planted sunflower seeds to grow for the Bisley Fete. They had a jolly time rolling  the compost ball in the Garden Organic Demonstration area to oxygenate and compost bindweed! Two students had families who had allotment plots so they took their classmates and showed them the vegetables their families were growing and tadpoles in their allotment pond.
